Yesterday was the first time I've seen Kaylie in person in two and a half weeks. I came home late Thursday night and she had fallen asleep with her mother, so I didn't want to wake her up just to say hi. The next morning, Kaylie was right on cue, as if I hadn't even left. She climbed into my bed, woke me up at 8am and chatted with me until I finally got out of bed. I forgot how much she annoyed me by doing that. All I wanted to do was sleep! But I also couldn't help the fact that I missed her, so I was a LITTLE less annoyed than usual. I feel as though she has grown so much in the two weeks, both physically and mentally.
I decided to make the most of my time with Kaylie, since I am most likely going to move away soon. It was raining so we couldn't go to the park, so I decided to take her to the mall so she could play on the indoor playground. I made Kelly go with me too because Kelly has been exceptionally lazy, texting on her grandma's phone, watching TV, etc.
Before, Kaylie was afraid to get on the animals on the playground but now, she's even standing on them!

She is actually laughing here... that's her laughing face. |

Not sure what she is doing here... |

Now I remember- she was raising her hands and saying "I did it! I did it!" |
After an hour, I had to drag Kaylie off the playground (she was not happy, but she also didn't give up a big fight like she usually does). Along the way we ran into one of Kaylie's favorite TV characters, Peppa Pig:

We were going for the "pretend you're holding her hand" look |
We went to meet Kelly at the Books-A-Million, which is where I found this awesome backpack that was the perfect size for Kaylie! I double checked to see if I was getting gipped but it ended up being cheaper than what I found online.

It's a giraffe! |

Before we left the mall, she wanted to take a picture with Mario.. with her new backpack on. |
