After nearly 16 long grueling months, the boys have finally learned to walk! Henry is especially more enthusiastic about walking than Hayden, who still chooses to crawl for convenience. However, whenever the opportunity to play outside becomes available, both boys will immediately go into "walking mode".
Now that they know how to walk, the problem is finding a shoe that will accommodate their growing feet. Unfortunately, they are in between sizes 5 and 6, so it's always a hit and miss when buying shoes for them. Thus, its always better to spend less money on shoes, because we are going to end up buying new ones within a few weeks.
These shoes were bought a few days ago. As soon as Karen and I placed them on the boys' feet, they immediately got excited! They knew what was going to happen next.
The sun was about to set in thirty minutes, so I knew it was the perfect opportunity to bring the kids out before mosquitos and darkness got to them. The boys were so happy, since they are usually kept cramped inside, due to Henry's sensitive skin to bug bites. After walking around, absorbing the surroundings and watching the beautiful sun set, it was time to go back inside. The boys were tired, but very satisfied with their exciting "adventure" outdoors. We definitely will be back outside!
